Meetings are on the fourth Thursday of the month, at 2pm.

All new members welcome; no medical background required, just interest and willingness to be part of the group.

We examine historical medical advances, as  well as modern and recent  --  a comprehensive approach.
A recent visit to the Medical Museum in Whangarei brought into focus many advances in recent decades in such areas as anesthesia, surgery, and dentistry.
We have excellent discussions, and lots of people can usually add to what’s been said. We learn a lot. It’s fun and lively.
